I had a recruiter call, then a manager call, and finally a director call. It took a little over a month from the initial recruiter call until I got the offer. There wasn't any technical test, and the questions were mainly behavioral. Each call was about 30 minutes. I felt like the whole process and the questions were pretty standard and not too much.

I first talked to HR and then had an interview with the director. The director mentioned that another candidate who wasn't a student but had more experience was being considered, and he needed to check with HR about it. After that, I had a panel interview where they seemed unaware of my previous discussion with the director. They asked technical questions unrelated to the job posting, like about pen testing. One person on the panel, who wasn't technical, didn't know what a GUI was and questioned my teamwork ability because I had recently learned a CLI-based OS. It was very disorganized and unclear what they were looking for. I'd suggest avoiding this company for IT/Cybersecurity roles.

I went through 4 interviews for this role and was given a verbal offer twice. The hiring manager assured me I had the job but couldn't provide a formal offer letter because his boss was on PTO. He'd check in about my other offer while his manager was out, making it seem like I was the only candidate and it was just a formality. Since it was my preferred job, I extended the deadline twice and declined the other offer. It turned out to be a tactic, and the hiring manager never called back. HR later told me they chose a different candidate. While I know it was my decision to decline the other offer, being told twice that the job was mine felt like a done deal. Lesson learned, I definitely dodged a bullet not working for this person.

When I first applied for this job, the interview process was quite long. It included a call with the hiring manager, three panel interviews with different teams, and two one-on-one meetings with VPs. Since I didn't have previous finance experience, they gave me a straightforward modeling test, which was a basic DCF with some MACRs. I made it to the final two candidates, but I ended up accepting a position elsewhere. About six months later, I realized the new job wasn't what I had hoped for, so I reached out to the hiring manager to see if his team still had any openings. I reapplied, but unfortunately, I was rejected after the initial screen.
