I had a really great time interviewing for the Customer Success Manager position. Every chat, from the HR person to the hiring manager and my potential future teammate, felt genuine, well-thought-out, and interesting. I felt like our values really matched up, and it was obvious the company encourages teamwork and new ideas. They have a super cool product, and I was particularly impressed by how much they use technology, especially AI in their everyday tasks. Even though I ended up taking another offer that was too good to turn down and stopped my application, I still have a fantastic impression of this team and what they're aiming for. I'd definitely recommend checking out jobs here, and I hope we can connect again sometime.

Behavioral Technical

I reached out to clearpoint about a TAM position and sent my resume. They sent me an online assessment, and I got told I passed, but then they told me they switched to a different online assessment right before I took it. I took the second assessment and was then invited to a zoom meeting. After 4 rounds of interviews (they even added a 'final' round before asking for one more), I was told they were impressed but were going in a different direction. Interestingly, they then posted 4 more jobs for the same TAM role. So, it was 2 assessments and 4 interviews over 2-3 months, just to be told they are indecisive. I've been through many interviews, but this was the most confusing and time-consuming experience. Consider this a warning, and don't get too invested with this company.

Behavioral Technical Coding

Recruiter from Indeed contacted me and set up an initial chat with HR. The HR interview was an opportunity to talk more about my resume and answer behavioral questions. Following that, I had a technical assessment on TestDome. HR didn't specify the exact topics, but they did mention some possibilities. The topics are tied to the actual work, so I'd guess JavaScript is a must. My test included JS (closures), SQL, and error handling. I didn't make it past this stage even with a good score, but the next step would have been meeting the hiring manager. It was a pretty smooth process, and I would have liked to work there, but it wasn't meant to be. I underestimated the HR interview, which is really a behavioral one, so don't do what I did.

I applied online, and had an initial screening with HR. I was told I would hear back within a few business days, and I believed them given the following line in the job description: "We needed someone yesterday, and we are excited to grow our team, so if you're a good fit, expect this process to move quickly." However, two and a half weeks later, they sent an email stating they are "putting the position on hold". Overall, it's a very disorganized hiring process, as exhibited by both the email and the fact that the hiring manager could not definitively tell me how many rounds of interviews there would be. I hope that if they resume hiring for this position, they will at least have the bare minimum details decided on. Most candidates cannot afford to spend time applying and interviewing for a job that doesn't exist.
