I had a short and direct Zoom interview with a recruiter for the first round. The recruiter asked me some questions, then I got to speak, and afterwards she mentioned she'd be deciding who moved on to the next stages. I realized during the interview that it wasn't the right fit for me, and I didn't get a call back for the next phase.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a call with the hiring manager, where they asked some standard questions about what I was looking for and my background. After that, there was a take-home assignment with three questions. They said to try and do as much as possible within an hour. Two of the questions involved responding to a customer prompt or report, and the third question gave me a choice between option A or option B. These two technical questions required either integrating Clearbit with Salesforce or integrating Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) into a frontend page. I felt that neither question provided enough information to complete successfully without prior experience with Salesforce, or GA/GTM in more of an admin role. I looked for external resources but only found outdated documentation. Ultimately, the technical questions seemed poorly designed without some prior system admin knowledge.

Behavioral Technical

The overall interview process was confusing. I completed all the interviews and was then suggested for a different position. Unfortunately, after trying to schedule a call with the recruiter and her being a no-show a few times, it has lost my interest in the company. The people are lovely, but they do need a lot of work on their process.
