First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clean.
Account Coordinator
I didn't get any email with time or location details before the interview. I tried to follow up after the initial interview but didn't hear back, no rejection or status update.
- What was your source for learning about this position?
Copywriter
It was super simple, they asked me questions about my professional life as well as my personal life. The interviewer was super insightful about what they wanted in an employee.
- What made you apply for this job?
Copywriter
I applied with my resume and cover letter and then got an email asking me to come in for an in-person interview. It was with two other copywriters and the creative director. A 3-on-1 interview sounds scary, but they were pretty chill and friendly, so I felt at ease. It was more like we were all just chatting. They only asked a few specific questions to get a better sense of my skills and who I am.
- Can you tell me what makes you unique?
Senior Software Developer
I did an initial phone screen. Then I met with multiple people in-person, including the CEO. The in-person interviews were all done consecutively, and they included a group interview and a couple of brief 1-on-1 interviews. I got a good sense of the environment, the culture, and the different types of work. I felt good about answering questions honestly, and also about asking questions and bringing up concerns.
- How comfortable are you with picking up new applications, techniques, and technologies that you haven't used before?
