First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clay Cooley Autogroup.
Sales Consultant
I interviewed with a private company that's not part of Clay Cooley and it went pretty well. They also gave me some initial training to get me familiar with The Clay Cooley Company's rules and what they expect.
- Tell me about your previous experience in automobile sales.
- Can you describe your prior sales background?
- What are your salary expectations?
Service Writer
The service manager was easy to reach, and the entire process was quite simple. I completed an application, answered some questions about my personal aspirations and career objectives, and passed a drug test, after which I was offered the position. Don't be anxious; this was the least stressful interview experience I've ever had, aside from not having one at all.
- What motivates you to seek this particular role?
Sales Manager
It was pretty straightforward. Just show up ready for an interview, and have your ID and social security card handy to speed up the process. Be ready to wait, and I mean really wait, because they're busy with car deals while you're waiting to be interviewed. So, don't leave – it took about 2 hours for my first interview.
- What value will you bring to the team?
Customer Service Advisor
The interview process was smooth and fast. There was only one interview, and I was offered the position on the spot. The interview lasted about 15 minutes. I wasn't sure if that was a good sign or not.
- What is your availability to work?
