The interview itself was pretty standard for a security engineer role, covering technical skills, incident response experience, and team fit. The interviewers were professionals, and the conversation seemed to go well. However, there was absolutely no follow-up after the interview. I reached out multiple times, but the recruiter never responded. It's unprofessional and disrespectful of candidates' time to be invited to interview and then just be ignored. This lack of basic communication really makes Class Valuation's hiring process seem disorganized. If this is how they treat candidates, I worry about how they treat employees internally.

Had a phone interview that was pretty easy with basic questions, lasted about 25 minutes. Then, there was a virtual group interview with two managers and HR. They asked basically the same questions from the first interview, which I thought was poorly planned. The virtual interview felt unprofessional, and the interviewers even admitted they weren't ready. I finished the interview and was told I'd know about next steps in about two weeks, but I never heard back. The recruiters seem swamped and don't communicate well. About two weeks after the virtual interview, I emailed the recruiter. They tried to schedule me for the same initial interview multiple times, like they didn't remember me. I had to remind them I'd already done the first interview, and they apologized for the mix-up. After not hearing about next steps, I emailed again and was told it would be a few more weeks. I waited a month, reached out again, but got no response for another month. It's unprofessional to tell someone they'll hear back in two weeks and then never follow up or even reply to emails. Online reviews for Class Valuations aren't great either; it seems disorganized and unprofessional. I'm moving on.

The interview was very conversational and friendly. I was welcomed and guided to a waiting area called the Think Tank, which had comfy furniture, colorful walls, a TV with company ads, and a fridge with water. It was a relaxing space before the interviewer met me. I was greeted warmly and complimented. Then, I was taken to a meeting room with comfortable chairs and met with two women. We chatted about personal lives and work, and the conversation flowed naturally into business questions. It felt comfortable, not awkward or forced, and my nerves eased as we talked. There was a lot of laughter and discussion, making it a pleasant experience. After the initial interview, I was given a tour of the building and shown the amenities and positive aspects of the company. They showed genuine interest in my background, hobbies, and ethics, not just going through the motions. The process was easygoing, relaxing, and enjoyable, yet professional, brief, and detailed.

The interview process was really straightforward. It started with a phone interview, then I had a face-to-face interview, followed by a second face-to-face interview. Honestly, it was pretty standard for an interview. They asked a lot about what I could contribute to the company and about my past work experiences. It wasn't tough at all, and they called with a job offer about a week and a half after the final interview.
