First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clarvida.
Case Worker
The interview was simple and decent. They asked about my past work, how I communicate, and how I handle tough situations. They explained the job well and I got to ask some questions at the end.
- Tell me about your experience with clients who were in stressful or difficult circumstances.
Direct Support Staff
The recruiter's communication and follow-through were very refreshing and seamless. The phone interview was quick and direct. She asked questions, I answered, and she asked a scenario question to see how I would respond to handling a situation. I felt comfortable answering openly and honestly and was given adequate time to answer all questions.
- Could you tell me your availability in terms of days and hours?
Behavioral Health Technician
The hiring process involved a Zoom interview, an online application, and several clearances including criminal background, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint checks. Working with HR and recruiters was very pleasant and straightforward. I had some trouble with the online application as it was a new system for them, but they kept me informed. I'd definitely recommend this company and their hiring process.
- Can you explain your reasons for this significant career change?
- What experience do you possess that is relevant to this role?
Director
This company has many long-term leaders who seem out of touch and uncaring towards candidates. The interview process started with a phone screen with a Rec Coordinator, but they didn't follow their own plan. They ghosted me multiple times with weak excuses, failed to set expectations, and didn't take time to get to know me, focusing solely on their questions with little time for mine. The C-suite was disappointing. They ask for references before an offer and then take ages to make a bad decision, which is a risky, outdated recruiting tactic.
- What would be your key success metrics in the first year of this position?
