The interview process was a bit lengthy and not very structured, more of a vibe check, unlike a previous clarks interview. They basically assess your ability to sell yourself, and also your ability to sell to a customer. Knowing about the company would have helped a lot.

The interview was super informal, like the assistant manager interviewed me and another person at the same time, making it feel like a competition. It was in a common area, a canteen actually, with people eating and others walking in and out. Totally unprofessional. The questions were pretty easy, and the manager talked a lot about the job at Clark’s, but it was clear they were really focused on sales and hitting targets. Since they needed to hire quickly, the induction was the next day. She said she’d call us that evening, but she never did. The other candidate got the job right after, with the manager giving them paperwork before I even left. I will say, Clark's does pay pretty well though.

Group Presentation Behavioral

The interview process was a group interview. First, we had an icebreaker where we had to give a mini presentation about another person in the group. Then, we had to describe a specific shoe, talking about its features and benefits. Finally, we had to choose the best 3 qualities for someone working at Clarks, such as product knowledge, drive, and adaptability.

  • Can you share an example of a time you overcame a challenge to achieve something?
  • What are your availability hours?
