First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clarks.
Sales Assistant
The interview process was quick and easy, and the interviewer, who was the shop manager, made me feel comfortable. She asked relevant questions clearly and gave a good explanation of the role and what's expected. It was a welcoming, professional, and positive experience overall.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Sales Assistant
I sent in my CV and then had a chat about it. They asked me some questions about when I'd overcome obstacles and about my past sales experience. They also asked how much I knew about Clarks in the UK, which I didn't know much about, but I still got an offer.
- What is your previous experience and how much do you know about Clarks across the country?
- Tell me about a time you overcame an obstacle.
- Can you describe your previous sales experience?
Sales Assistant
We began with a group interview where we interacted with other potential candidates; it was a good icebreaker. This was followed by individual interviews where they asked general questions about my previous work experience and how I handle difficult customers, among other things.
- How would you handle a challenging customer interaction?
