First, I had a phone call where they asked me about my availability. Then, I went in person for a group interview. In the group interview, they asked me why I thought I'd be suitable for the job, about my past experience, and my best qualities. After that, they asked me to pick a shoe and try to sell it to them.

Behavioral Other

The interview felt both formal and informal. The manager made a lot of assumptions about me and said, "I assume you know a lot about shoes?" to which I replied, "Yes, I love shoes!" which is true. He seemed to want to know more about me but I'm not sure if it mattered overall. He sort of explained how things go in the store, but there weren't a lot of details. I asked questions about the sales quota and the manager assured me that the stress of making the sales quota would not be put onto me but would be a goal we all strived for but did not have to absolutely meet.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • What would you do if a customer wanted to enter the store but we were already at capacity?
