Management Trainee
To be a management trainee, you need to have prior education or knowledge related to footwear or leather. The initial interview will assess your attitude. Finally, the head of the region will interview you to gauge your skill level.
- What is your vision for Clarks?
Assistant Manager
Had an hour-long interview and was told the position was filled. They offered me a full-time key holder position, which I took while I look for something else. It seems like management exaggerates earning potential to fill positions.
- Can you discuss your prior management experience?
- We'd like to offer you a full-time position.
Assistant Manager
It was pretty relaxed. They gave me info about the company. I got asked some open-ended questions about my experience and goals, like 'give me a time when' questions. The second interview was similar, they laid out the job expectations. We talked about the size of the store team and what they do. It was very laid back and conversational.
- Can you describe an instance where you exceeded expectations to help a customer?
