First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clarks.
Summer Intern
We had a group interview where we each had to bring in an object that best represented us and talk about why. After that, we talked as a group about what makes good or bad customer service. Then, we were split into two smaller groups of three. In these groups, we were given a trainer and a school shoe and taught the 4 selling points they use. We then had to work in our groups to find the positive features of each shoe and match them to the 4 selling points. After figuring that out, both groups presented what they found. We were then told if we missed anything. Finally, they told us about the start dates and training schedule and asked if there were any times we couldn't work.
- Can you bring an object that best represents you?
Intern
I had two separate interview sessions, each with a group of two interviewers. Each session lasted about 30 minutes, making the total interview time 1 hour. The interviewers were really nice and friendly, and they mostly asked me about my past experiences.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself?
Intern
Applied online and got a quick response. They set up a phone interview in less than a week. The interview was about 20 minutes long with roughly 6 questions. Got told if I got an offer within 3 days after the interview.
- What makes you want to join Clarks?
