The interview process was really smooth and felt professional. I came in and talked with some senior people on the Project Management team. The in-person interview part took about 45 minutes, and after that, they showed me around the building and introduced me to everyone in each section.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty standard. I talked with the Marketing Manager and the Client Engagement Practice Leader, and it went well. They mostly asked me to introduce myself and gave me a good rundown of the job. They said they'd get back to me in a couple of weeks because one of them would be traveling. But, I waited a whole month with no word, so I ended up reaching out to the marketing coordinator. She said they were still interviewing folks and would let me know about next steps the following week. She also mentioned there were a bunch of openings, which was causing the hold-up. Sadly, I never heard anything back after that. It would have been nice to get some closure, even if it was just to say I didn't get the job. Oh, and one more thing: when they first called, they said it would be a phone interview, but it turned out to be a video call when I logged on. A heads-up about that would have been appreciated. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with how unprofessional the whole thing felt. Not communicating or following through really says something about a company's culture, and I expected more from a company this size.

About a month after applying, I was contacted by HR for an interview for the Department Head position. I scheduled a meeting with a Director and two Department Heads. After about 30 minutes of them asking me questions, they asked if I had any. I asked why one of them held the same title as the position I applied for, and the Director stated that HR had told him it was an interview for an "Engineer 2" position. This seemed like a bait-and-switch. The salary range was also below market for the role I applied for, and even for the lower-level position they said it was.

This was a first round interview, lasting about 20 minutes. The interviewers were nice, but they seemed disengaged. I got the feeling they had already chosen someone and were just going through the motions. I never heard back after the interview, even though I followed up.
