It was a long interview process and took a while to onboard. The HR staff were very friendly, but it took months from when I applied to when I got a call back. However, the onboarding process itself was very quick and precise.

The interview process was great at first, and I really liked talking to everyone. But then after I was told I was the final choice, things got bad. I was excited to start, but HR gave me only two weeks to move, and I still had to quit my job and move across states. This felt unprofessional. I applied in August and had only one interview, but the whole thing took almost three months. If they needed someone fast, they should have said when they sent the offer, not wasted two weeks on emails about the final offer. If I had known the start date was firm, I would have prepared and not missed out. It got worse when they said the start date was fixed and I had to decide, then three hours later they rescinded the offer without talking to me. This makes me wonder if I want to work there.

The interview process was straightforward and swift. I had a direct interview with the athletic department. It involved a Zoom meeting and a background check. They use standardized questions to minimize hiring bias. I'd definitely suggest applying for a job at Clark College.

There were two interviews that happened. The first one was with a group of people from different departments on campus. They asked me questions about diversity, how I handle working with lots of students, and specifically about working with non-traditional students. The second interview involved a Program Coordinator, an Associate Director, and the Dean of Student Services. Their questions were more in-depth, asking me to share specific examples of how I'd handle a challenging student situation and how I go about learning new degree requirements and then passing that information along to students.
