It was a 3 round interview, friendly interview looks like a good company, the third round was more like a discussion to get to know me personally not much of work related questions. The first two were with the hiring manager and Director.

Honestly, the communication between HR and the hiring managers here is a mess. HR didn't seem to know what the hiring managers actually needed, so they sent me to a job that wasn't even close to my skills and paid way less. I took time off work for this, and then they suggested a totally different role. It's weird because they grilled me about my old job and clients, and my old company is their biggest competitor. But when I asked them anything about what they do, they just clammed up. Makes you wonder if they're just trying to get info from people without really planning to hire them for the right roles. Super confusing and a waste of my time. I wouldn't recommend interviewing with them, especially if a recruiter contacts you.

The interview process here moves fast. First, there were two meetings with the recruiter. Then, one meeting with the Engineering Manager. After that, there was a 1.5-hour technical interview with seven team members. Having seven people interview you at once is really tough. It seems like it could lead to bias and favor a certain type of person, especially since everyone interviewing me was a man. It felt like a 'Lord of the Flies' situation, needing everyone to approve, instead of picking who's best for the team. Performance anxiety is definitely a thing when seven people are asking questions and watching you code. People I've talked to about this process were shocked. Some reviews also mention issues with the company culture, and maybe this interview was a preview of that. It was also strange when I tried asking questions about the team, like 'Oh, you're interviewing me now?'. Most companies appreciate when a candidate comes prepared with questions, and the candidate experience really matters.

I had 4 in-person interviews, including a panel technical interview. The final interview was canceled the day before it was scheduled and I was asked to reschedule. It was a very lengthy interview process; the company doesn’t value your time.
