Me contactaron por LinkedIn, luego tuvimos una llamada, y después me agendaron para una entrevista en Microsoft Teams que fue una semana después. Me comentaron que faltaría una entrevista más.

Behavioral Technical

So at Clarios, the interviews are usually a few steps. First, after you apply, a recruiter will likely give you a call or video chat to talk about your experience. Then, depending on the job, you might have interviews that are technical or behavioral to see if you have the right skills and if you'd fit in. For some jobs, they might have you come in for an on-site interview, maybe even a tour of the plant, so you can meet people and check out the place. Sometimes they'll have you do some tests or assessments too. If you make it through those, you'll probably have a final chat with some higher-ups, and if all goes well, they'll make you an offer, but they'll do a background check first. It's pretty structured but changes depending on the role, so just be ready and show you're keen.

A headhunter contacted me about this role. The first interview was with the headhunter. Then, I had an online interview with the General Manager of the company in Turkey, which was brief and direct. The next step was another online interview with the GM of Turkey and the Regional GM from Germany, where they asked about my past experiences. Following that, there was an online personality test. The final stage was a face-to-face meeting with the GM at the office. I was offered a regional sales manager role domestically with team management, which I accepted. They said they would send a proposal the following week. A month later, the headhunter informed me that hiring was temporarily frozen.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process started with a 30-minute recruiter call that was more about getting to know me and the role. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, which was a bit more technical. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview. The HR person who handled my travel and scheduling seemed really disorganized; they haven't responded to my emails or calls about my hotel reimbursement for over a month after I turned down the job. It's also worth noting they don't cover food expenses during travel, which was a surprise. The initial offer call was also strange – the HR person gave the compensation details and immediately asked if I would accept before I could even respond. The salary itself was lower than other offers I've gotten for similar roles in the area, suggesting their overall salary ranges might be lower. The actual on-site interview was a panel with the plant manager, a senior engineer, HR, and the hiring manager. They asked a lot of similar behavioral questions, and some focused on my willingness to work long hours, though they do pay overtime for hours over 50/week. When I asked about safety culture, one interviewer questioned my motives and then quizzed me on OSHA recordables in a kind of condescending way.
