Bartender
Good interview process, I was invited, had a chat, and they offered me coffee. We talked about questions and values. The interviewer knew what they wanted, and had a happy, professional attitude.
- How would you handle a growing queue at the reception?
Catering Sales Manager
There was a phone interview first, and then I met with two of the company's managers. The whole thing took about an hour. They asked some basic questions and we talked about the company's vibe. It was a good way to get a feel for the company, the property, and what the job is all about.
- Can you describe a challenging event you organized?
Front Desk Clerk
The interview was super chill for me. It was just me and the front office manager, one-on-one. They asked some general interview questions. Since I had a year of experience already as a front desk clerk, a lot of the questions were about my past experiences and how I dealt with stuff. The coolest part was at the end when the interviewer asked me, "If you could be any kind of animal in the world, what would it be? and Why?"
- What would you do if a guest was checked into the wrong room type and the property was sold out?
- What animal would you be and why?
Front Desk
The interview experience was really bad and strange. The hiring manager asked me a question that I know was against company policy. He asked me if I was pregnant, mentioning he had hired pregnant women before who quit after a short time. Other than that, his questions were pretty generic, like he didn't really know what to ask.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join our company?
