I interviewed with Clarify Health, going through several rounds. It started with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, a cross-functional leader, and finally the CRO. After all that, I heard nothing. No one followed up, no rejection, not even a thank you. It was pretty unprofessional for a company that seems so data-focused. The last interview with the CRO, Walker Hale, was especially a letdown. He seemed checked out and it felt like a done deal before we even talked. He barely seemed interested in what I had to say, which was surprising given how many interviews they had me do, including with top brass. You'd expect at least some basic communication or closure. It made me think they either aren't on the same page internally or just don't respect people's time.

Behavioral Presentation

The interviews were pretty basic, but honestly, there were just too many and they took up way too much time. I'd really suggest trying to make the interview process more efficient and limit the number of interviews. In the end, it felt like a complete waste of my time, and the interviewers seemed like they were just going through the motions to tick a box.

Interviews were remote, and it was a bummer to have something like 7 interviews and a passed skills test and not get the job. The skills test was online and the interviews were done individually so it ended up taking a decent amount of time.

It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a manager phone screen. After that, I had two video interviews with product leaders and three more interviews with different cross-functional teams. In the first recruiter call, they confirmed they could hire remotely in my location without sponsorship. I went through all the interviews and got a verbal offer from the manager. But then, the manager asked if I would be willing to relocate. I asked for a few days to consider, but less than a week later, they rescinded the offer. They said that after talking internally, hiring remotely from my location turned out to be complicated and sponsorship wouldn't be possible. A better recruiting team would have done their homework on location requirements before posting the job in my area, not offered a job without internal checks, and apologized for the whole mess. Sadly, none of that happened.
