First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CLA Global.
Accounting Manager
The interview process involves three rounds total, and the second one is the most detailed. A hiring team member conducts this round, focusing on understanding your career goals and how they fit with the company's overall direction. It's a very informative session that clearly lays out what happens next after the manager evaluation. Generally, the communication and follow-up are great, and they provide all the necessary onboarding documents beforehand.
- Given that the role can be difficult and sometimes involves setbacks, how do you maintain your resilience and performance during tough times?
Sales Account Manager
It was a really smooth interview process over Zoom. I met with two hiring managers who asked me about my past experience, why I wanted to work in sales, and my future goals.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
- What motivated your interest in this field?
- What are your aspirations for career growth?
Sales Development Representative
The first interview was online, where I had to answer prerecorded questions and submit video responses. The second interview was on Zoom, but the interviewer was late and asked a lot of irrelevant personal questions, like about my family's location and size. A major red flag was the statement 'Our company is like a family,' coupled with high expectations for travel without covering expenses. The job description mentioned covering gas, but this only applies if quotas are met. Also, it's a pure commission job with no base pay.
- Can you discuss your relevant job experience and any transferrable skills you possess?
- Are you actively looking for a new job right now?
- How many interviews have you gone on recently?
Sales Representative
It was a two-step interview process. First, there was an online digital interview and questionnaire. You could download an app for your mobile device or do it on a PC, I did mine on a PC. Then, there was an in-person or Zoom video interview with a hiring manager. Finally, there was an exit interview.
- What makes people want to follow you?
- What characteristics do you look for in a manager?
