First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Civil Service United Kingdom.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process involved situation-based questions where I learned to use the ARR method and then add my own experience at the end. There were two questions overall, but they were fairly simple situations. You just need to have a good customer experience background and practice multiple scenarios to master the interview. Each part was about 4 minutes, so you need to be quick.
- What would you do if a customer was upset about taxes?
Customer Service Representative
The entire interview process was conducted online. I didn't really get a chance to ask questions. There was a lot of psychometric testing. It took a long time to hear back, and in the meantime, I found another job.
- Did you ensure that you followed their success profile framework?
Customer Service Representative
For the online interview, you'll need to record video responses to questions that appear on your screen. Your video will be recorded clearly. All questions will be based on different scenarios, and you need to answer them very clearly. Don't use anything for reading, etc.
- How would you handle a customer and your manager, and also manage to complete your work on time?
