The company's vehicles are late model and constantly breaking down, though dispatch does their best given the constraints and the need to listen to certain people.

I sent in an application online, but after not hearing anything for over 10 days, I decided to go in person. I was fortunate enough to be interviewed right away and was asked to come in for training. The first interview was straightforward, mostly just confirming my license, briefly discussing my previous work, and asking why I wanted to be an EMT. However, that's not the end of the 'interview' process. They'll have you come back for training, which lasts a full week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. You can still be let go if you don't pass training satisfactorily. The requirements differ slightly if you're applying as a driver compared to an EMT, but the training itself also serves as an interview. After completing the training, you'll be officially hired.
