A recruiter contacted me for a 30-minute phone screen. The interviewer was late, but that's okay. The interviewer seemed unprepared and didn't answer my questions, even though I had prepared several thoughtful ones. They seemed distracted and weren't listening. I explained my background, and then they asked me to explain it again. After the interview, I didn't hear back from the company. When I followed up for feedback and to gauge the hiring manager's interest, I was ignored. This ghosting is unprofessional.

I had a really good interview experience. It started with two phone interviews, then I went in for an in-person interview that lasted about 4 hours and included about 5 different staff members. After that, I had an at-home assessment to check my skills.

I had an initial phone screen with a recruiter, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person session with people from different departments. The in-person interview was quite long and happened over 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard back from the recruiter, even after following up. I'm not sure if I've been formally rejected, but it would be nice to get a notification after investing so much time in the interview process. I feel like I shouldn't have to chase for updates. The people and products are great, but a bad and slow interview process won't attract candidates or help the company's reputation.

First there was a take home assignment where I had to implement a widget. Then, it was either an onsite or virtual interview if remote. The onsite involved a code comprehension session and then pair programming on a feature update. They also asked some easy/friendly behavioral questions.
