The interview process wasn't worth the time; they didn't respect the candidate's time. First, there was a recruiter call, then a take-home assignment given with a week and a half deadline. I spent about 4-6 hours on it, but could have spent more time refining it. It wasn't super difficult, but had enough edge cases that it could get complex, especially if early decisions were poor. I submitted it on a Saturday, followed up a few days later and then again a week later. They said they were waiting for someone to grade it. A week after that, I got a generic rejection email stating they were moving forward with another candidate. I inquired about feedback on the assignment but received no response.

The company reached out to me for an interview opportunity, which seemed promising at first. However, the process turned concerning when they asked me to sign an NDA before we could proceed. I get that some companies might need NDAs, but I asked for a simplified version or some clarity on the terms because I wanted to know what I'd be agreeing to. Sadly, the recruiter never got back to me after my follow-up email, so I couldn't move forward. This was a unprofessional recruiting experience. If they can't answer basic questions, it doesn't reflect well on company culture.
