The interview process was virtual and easy, with quick job-related questions. They asked why I left my previous jobs and about any lost referrals. It was very easygoing and not too serious. I also had to take an assessment.

I had 4 interviews for this job, but then they ghosted me before the 5th one. I was really hopeful at first. It started with a phone interview, then two in-person interviews on the same day. After that, I had a fourth interview with the company executives on a different day. Everything seemed to go fine, and they mentioned needing someone quickly, but there was one last phone interview left with someone from their New York office. They said I'd hear back within two days. Two days passed, and then City Staffing contacted me, saying they were still interested but were having some coordination issues. After that, I didn't hear from them for over a week. Turns out, I was rejected and didn't even get that final interview I was expecting. Really unprofessional and they didn't seem to care about the applicants.

I initially reached out to their office and was instructed to submit my resume and application online. They mentioned they would contact me if my profile seemed like a good fit for the kind of work they usually handle. A few days later, their receptionist called to arrange an in-person interview. I had a meeting with a very welcoming woman who made me feel comfortable. It struck me as different from other agencies I'd encountered before. She had a specific position in mind that caught my interest. I believe I had to wait a day or two while they verified my references.
