I sent in my resume online and it took a few weeks to hear back. Then I got a call for an interview with a panel of 4 general City of Seattle staff members, one of whom was on the team I applied for. It took a few more weeks after that to get a request for a final interview with the Director, Deputy Director, and another high-ranking person from a different team. I got the job offer the very next day.

I applied, and after the posting closed, I got an email to set up an interview. The interviews were virtual with a department panel. They sent the questions ahead of time. The panel was nice and the interview lasted about 45 minutes.

I applied to the City and heard back for an interview within 35 days. I had an interview with a panel of 4 people (2 from the hiring department, 1 from HR, and 1 from IT). The questions were emailed 10 minutes before the interview. After the interview, they asked for 3 references, and they specifically wanted one to be a current supervisor. My references were not contacted, and I got an email saying I didn't get the job 7 days later.
