Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at city of San Diego.
Intern
The interview was virtual and quite fast. Two managers were there and they were nice. It took a really long time to hear back and set up the interview after I first applied.
- Tell me about the software you've used and learned during your studies.
Intern
They did a poor job interviewing me and never seemed interested in considering me for the position. The interview was very short and the City has a dysfunctional hiring process when it comes to hiring new interns.
- Can you tell me about your experience in this field?
IT Intern
It was an easy interview, no technical questions, just 12 behavioral questions. The salary is low, and I'm not sure about a return offer. Students could try it out. They hire lots of students across San Diego. Offer came after one interview.
- What made you interested in this job offer?
