I'm waiting to hear back because of federal grant issues. The position might be cut or funded differently. Lots of local government jobs get federal money, which is surprising. I'm hoping for the best.

Started with a screening, then a longer in-person interview where we talked about my background and the job. The whole thing can take a bit, and there might be an analytical task too.

Police Officer
submitted application easy - then there is a few month waiting period….there is also a written test and physical test included in the interview process. overall it was a pretty intensive process. beginning to end
- How do you serve the community?
Director
The process involved spending time with people from different departments. There was a civil service exam, a drug test, and a background check. I also had to write an essay, participate in a group interview, and have a final interview with the head of the department.
