So basically, first there is a fitness test, then a personal interview. When I applied, you had to try your best for the fitness test, it was not designed to be passed but to see if you were able to complete it without giving up. Then you change and you go to finish the personal interview.

You apply online to the classification series. Then, you take a written test to evaluate your administrative skills, and you get a score. Any department that needs an Office Specialist will call you to interview. This can take a while, months to a year, and you will have about 2 interviews. My first interview was very simple and straightforward with staff. After that, you meet with the department director for the final interview. The interviews didn't take long, maybe 30 minutes to an hour.

The whole process went by pretty fast, like two weeks from applying to getting interviews. The engineers I talked to were not very friendly, seemed like they didn't want to be there, and weren't welcoming at all. I got the hint and decided I didn't want this job, so I stopped caring. Other than that, the interview was pretty standard.
