GIS Data Analyst
I had an interview with two people in a conference room at city hall. They asked a good mix of technical and personality questions. The interviewers were nice and seemed into it.
- Can you explain geoprocessing and share an instance where you applied it?
Recreation Supervisor
The hiring process started with an application, which took about 4 weeks to get a response on. If selected, candidates had to complete an essay with a few prompt questions. Lastly, if they liked the essay, there was an in-person interview, with no virtual options available.
- What modifications are you prepared to implement?
GIS Analyst
I had a phone call to meet and then interview in person. It was mostly behavioral questions, and the vibe was friendly and personable. The whole thing took about 2 weeks. There was just one interview, and then I got an offer. HR was awesome and explained the next steps clearly and answered all my questions.
- How do you handle conflict?

Had three interviews with a panel of three people who asked about my past and previous experiences. The questions were fair and not too difficult. The interviewers were very professional and friendly. About half of the interview focused on personal life and goals.
