The interview process was really good, with pleasant people and well-chosen questions. The interview room was nice, and parking was convenient. They even provided helpful interview prep notes. While the final compensation offer wasn't presented until the very end, a salary range was included with the job posting. Overall, I had a great experience with the process and the people involved.

It was a 3-person panel interview, lasting 30 minutes or less, held in person. They asked 10 questions or less in a conference room that felt pretty comfortable. Make sure to arrive a bit early because you have to park in the hourly deck, but they'll reimburse you for parking after the interview.

The interview process took about 5 weeks from beginning to end, even though I was initially told it would be quick. I had an initial phone call with the Director, then an in-person meeting with her. After that, I was asked back to meet with the Risk Managers, and then again to meet with the CFO. It felt a bit inconsiderate, especially since they don't reimburse for parking and it takes up my time. I got an offer, but I turned it down because the HR Rep was very upfront about the very limited benefits offered by the City. There's no telecommuting or flexible schedules to avoid rush hour traffic (which is unusual for downtown/midtown Atlanta employers), no bonuses, and no raises for years. Parking is $85 a month if you even get a spot in the City's lot, and the benefits are quite expensive.
