They were really needing trainers when I applied so a lot of steps were skipped that I saw other trainers go through. I had a phone call and then an interview with a trainer manager.

First, there was a 30-minute Zoom call with the head THRIVE manager. Then, they set up a second interview with a Thrive manager at a specific location. This second interview was a bit longer, about an hour to an hour and a half, and it was over Zoom or the phone. The third round was in person and lasted about the same amount of time.

Case Behavioral

The interview process was really straightforward. They presented me with a situation where I had to figure out how to sell to a potential customer. I used my customer service background and focused on understanding the customer's needs first so I could recommend the right product. They seemed pretty laid-back, mostly wanting to see if I was coachable and a people person.

The interview for the personal training job was pretty simple. The interviewers were nice and the process felt comfortable and pain-free. It lasted about an hour. The questions were pretty direct and related to the personal training position.
