The interview process was very organized. First, you submit your application. Then, you get an email saying you qualified. After that, HR or the hiring manager will contact you to schedule an interview. The interview itself is in-person and is a panel interview. Following the panel interview, there's a timed test.

Real Property Appraiser
I had an in-person interview at their Downtown Honolulu office. It was a one-on-one interview, but I was meeting with a panel of 3 senior appraisers. I had to find metered street parking or a parking garage and pay their parking fees.

Pretty straightforward interview process with the program manager. They were accommodating with interview times. The interview was over zoom and the process was smooth compared to others. They asked normal questions relevant to the position.

Housing Assistance Specialist
so before the panel part of the interview, they gave me the job description and other materials. The interview itself started with a non-rated question about the position and my thoughts on homelessness and its connection to the job. Then, about 6 questions focused on my past experience as it relates to the job duties, like handling difficult customers or my background in human services. The final parts of the interview included a written test for my math skills and a writing sample.
