the whole thing was super long, took more than 2 months to get the offer. it was a bunch of virtual interviews with HR and the teams I'd be working with.

It was a pretty long process. I had a phone interview with two recruiters, then another phone interview with a team member. The recruiter then scheduled an in-person interview with three employees. When I arrived, I had to wait a long time before someone explained what was happening. A team member eventually spoke with me briefly, but explained the other two couldn't make it and he had to leave. We spoke for less than 3 minutes. I understood that things happen, but I didn't get an apology or an update from the recruiter. When I tried to discuss it with the recruiter, she dismissed me and took another 2-3 weeks to inform me they hired someone else. After I emailed her saying I couldn't meet the team members, she went silent and didn't suggest rescheduling.

I applied online and then had two phone interviews, followed by a Skype interview. The final step was an in-person interview. I was moving from Chicago to LA and made a rushed drive out to make the in-person interview because scheduling was difficult and they didn't have much availability. Sadly, after driving across the country and then an hour from my new place in LA, the interviewers were too busy to see me. A person from a different department met with me and awkwardly asked about my experience, but admitted he wouldn't be my manager and didn't really know what the job was about.

It was a lot of interviews and a long test done at home over a couple of days. The interviews were in person and had multiple rounds, with more than one person in each round.
