I had a phone call screen, then an on-site interview with the General Manager, Director, and HR manager. After that, we took a tour of the facility, and I had another interview with some follow-up questions.

The interview required a solid grasp of the role's duties. It was question-based, aiming to gauge a unique understanding of customer service and the skills to show practical knowledge of the job. It was very direct.

Behavioral Technical

I went through two interviews with various managers. One thing I found insulting was that they made me wait 45 minutes past my scheduled interview time. I am sure that they would not have appreciated me showing up 45 minutes late. The manager for my final interview was kind of rude. He acted like he had better things to do and that he couldn't wait to get me out of his office. I understand retail can be busy, but maybe you should schedule your interviews when you are sure to have coverage. Basic questions about sales experience and comfort levels with certain sales position aspects. With the manager's behavior I wasn't sure if I would get the job but surprisingly was offered a position.

It was a really thorough interview process. First, I had a phone screen, then an in-person meeting with the store manager. After that, there was a panel interview with five people: three from the store and two from corporate.
