The interview was a video call with the recruiter and it was bad. I wanted to share the unpleasant interview with the recruiter a few months back, the way the recruiter talked, felt like she doing me a big favor to interview me. Tone was rude, dominating and super high handed. Kept cutting me off and talking down to me. If HR team behave like that one, how to work? Somemore, I was talking about the interview with my friend and turns out used to work with her at a firm here in Singapore before. He says she also got let go there for same kind of behavior and other reasons. I don't even know if the company got do background check before hiring or train HR to talk politely and professionally. Bad experience.

The interview process was really well arranged. The talent acquisition person, G, was very professional and had a great attitude throughout the whole process. She was patient and encouraging during the long interview process and followed up on the subsequent phases. My manager and colleagues who interviewed me were also professional and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a good experience with Circles.

Very lengthy process. Included case studies and meetings with founders. HR was in contact multiple times, seemingly to keep me engaged, but I was unsure if they had a clear idea of what they were looking for. HR seemed to have no issue stringing candidates along, calling me when I was traveling and sick, and texting/WhatsApping even after I asked for a few days to respond, given the process had already dragged on for months. The HR TA, now HRBP, gave off a frenetic vibe, contacting me day and night. This was likely due to pressure from managers and her need to 'hit her KPI,' with no regard for the candidate's experience, well-being, or career prospects. 'No' means no. Similar to another review where an offer was rescinded after the candidate quit their previous job, I can foresee this same HR acting quickly to 'close her KPI' without considering the needs of both the company and candidates. It was an extremely unpleasant experience with the company and the people I interacted with; I've already warned my network about those who left a bad impression.
