The whole thing was pretty fast. They asked me a couple of things and then offered me the job right then and there. They gave me a quick rundown of what the job entails and showed me around the place. I was out of there in under two hours and didn't have to hang around the lobby for ages before my interviewer came to get me.

So I had about 7 interviews with 11 different people. The whole thing moved pretty fast over about three weeks. But after all that, I just got that standard email saying my qualifications were good but they went with someone else. Honestly, for how long it took and the level of the job, I felt a phone call would've been more respectful.

I had a phone call and then a first round meeting where they asked typical interview questions. The people interviewing me were nice and knew what they were looking for. They said they'd get back to me really soon, but I never heard back about a second round, whether it was a yes or no. After a couple weeks, I just gave up on it. It's a bummer that it took so long and they didn't communicate well, especially since they're a big employer around here.

The interview process here is really long-winded and not very efficient. It involves multiple interview panels that tend to ask the same questions over and over. Even though the job involved working with many people across different departments, it felt like they brought in absolutely everyone who this person might even pass by in the office. When I brought up the company's reputation on Glassdoor, instead of owning up to any issues or explaining what they're doing to fix them, they just blamed a few unhappy employees.
