After a phone interview, they scheduled an in-person interview and asked if I could come in as soon as possible on a Thursday. I agreed. The next day, I emailed to ask what time to come in, but received no response. I assumed they had hired someone else. I had already taken paid time off from my current job for this interview, and had told my employer the "doctor's appointment was quicker than I'd thought" to come in for my normal shift the next day. That morning, I got their response: "Please let me know your availability next Wednesday." I told them I was no longer interested. If I were unemployed, I might have continued, but they don't respect people's schedules, and if you're employed, they might not be worth the hassle.

I had a first chat with a recruiter who asked me basic questions about my experience for the job. She mentioned she'd pass my info to the hiring manager to see if they were interested in an interview. A few days later, I got an email from the hiring manager wanting to interview me, so I prepped like crazy. When I got into the interview, it was super quiet. The hiring manager hardly asked me anything, so I ended up doing most of the talking. The interview ended really fast, and it seemed like they had no interest in learning anything about me once it started. At the end, the hiring manager said I'd hear back in a few days, but it's been weeks and I was ghosted! This company is really unprofessional with how they handle interviews and candidates. It's probably for the best I didn't get this role after all.
