Got contacted initially, then did some technical tests and talked about the job. The technical stuff was pretty standard for automation roles. However, communication in the later parts was kinda shaky and not very clear, which made me wonder about the company vibe and how they treat candidates.

- In the first round, they asked about the company and typical daily tasks, plus some questions about networks and hypothetical situations. They also asked a question about finding an XPath on the Myntra website using Playwright. Additionally, there was a DSA question involving the sliding window technique and a question about OOPS concepts.

So I had a phone interview first, which started with some small talk, and then they asked me questions about my resume. We mostly talked about my past experiences, like asking me what my favorite part of a previous job was. Towards the end, they asked me a couple of technical questions, like about RTOS vs OS and UML. Then they gave me a detailed rundown of the job and I got to ask some questions. The second interview is in-person and they're scheduling it for next week based on my availability, which I haven't had yet.

I reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn and we had an initial chat. After that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Then, I was invited for an onsite interview which had 6 rounds in total. One of those rounds was conducted via video conference, and another was a group interview with 5 people. The interviews were quite technical, focusing heavily on various L2/L3 protocols, specifically requiring knowledge of packet formats for many of them. They asked a lot about QoS testing and also about the iTest automation tool. There were some basic testing questions too, like how to make a test plan, how to log a defect, and about a challenging issue I'd found. The team seemed really nice and the work environment felt great. I would have really liked to join.
