Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chuy's.
Server
4 interviews. First with the service manager, then assistant manager, then a phone interview with the GM. The last round was a 1 hour mock shift where I interviewed them. I don't have much more to say about them. They're not that great!
- What makes you a suitable candidate for Chuy's?
Server
The interview process was really smooth and easy, so don't stress too much. The managers are great and understanding. Just make sure to dress appropriately and be ready for some standard interview questions. It would be ideal if you have some prior server experience.
- Can you share your previous work experience?
- What's your background in serving?
Server
Typically a three round interview process. The first two rounds are with different managers, and the final round is with the GM. If they really like you, they might have your second round of interviewing right then and there with another manager. They’ll most likely schedule your third interview based on the GMs availability, but if they LOVE you, they’ll offer you the job on the second round. It's a super fun place to work with the opportunity to make a lot of money.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer, explaining the situation, your actions, and your reasoning.
