First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Churchill Contract Services.
Finance Manager
The office was nice, and the staff were friendly. I had more than one interview, so I got to meet several people. They clearly explained the role and gave me a chance to explain how I could contribute. The location was easy to find and had convenient parking.
- How does your background align with the requirements of this position?
Operations Manager
It was a discussion-based interview, one-on-one with the hiring manager. We covered general questions and talked about my CV and experience. They also introduced the company and we had a detailed chat about the role and what they expect.
- Could you share your most significant career accomplishment?
Business Support Coordinator
I was dragged to two in-person interviews. They ghosted me for 3 weeks. Then they contacted me just to say I didn’t get it due to a made up reason. Apparently over 5 years of experience isn’t enough, a monkey can do this job - it’s not rocket science. But it was enough experience for them to be chasing me to book the initial interviews? Clearly ‘honesty’ is something they’re all talk about, yet another company that doesn’t put its so called values into practice. Read the truthful reviews, they tell you all you need to know.
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenge in a similar role.
- Describe a situation where you had to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- How do you prioritize your workload?
Administrative
They tried to sell me on the job. The salary is not great, and there are no company benefits. Holiday entitlement is basic, and there's no sick pay. The hours are standard though. You should check the Glassdoor reviews. The interview involved some tests and a credit check, which I'm not sure why they did.
- How do you handle stress?
