Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Church & Dwight.
Packaging Engineer
I had four different interviews with four different people on the team. It was easy to schedule the four different interviews and everyone was very friendly during the process. I was asked about my past experience and why I wanted to join the company.
- How can your previous experience help you be great at this job?
Packaging Engineer
It was one panel interview with 4 packaging team members all at the same time. The staff was very personable and wanted to get to know you, but you need to be ready to manage multiple people at once. They asked questions about how you would deal with theoretical packaging problems and why you are interested in packaging.
- Can you describe a time you encountered an issue with a package and how you would have resolved it?
- How would you approach hypothetical challenges within packaging?
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in packaging?
Engineering
Got a call from the recruiter about a month after sending my resume. They set up the interview for 3 days after that first call. Two people were on the line, one was the hiring manager and the other I'm not sure, maybe a future teammate. The questions were pretty basic.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your skills relevant to this role?
