First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CHS Inc.
SAP Functional Analyst
The interview process was pretty standard. The hiring manager was in charge of the interview and asked some basic SAP and SQL related questions. I'm not sure the interviewer truly grasped the role, the project, or my capabilities by the end. It worked out in the end for both of us, but it felt like a bit of an unusual fit.
- Have you ever been involved in an SAP implementation?
Backoffice Analyst
I was invited to participate, I accepted, and I went through two phases (interview with HR and the manager). I didn't get information about salary, it's been about 6 months and I haven't had any feedback. I found HR to be very nice and the manager too, but since they invited me to participate in the selection process and didn't give feedback, I can imagine what it's like when people apply for the job.
- What are your expectations for the company?
Director
The whole thing took about 4 months. It was great talking to everyone at first, but then after the last interview, it was clear I wasn't getting the job. They went totally silent for two weeks. When the recruiter finally called, she made me feel like I wasn't even qualified. Honestly, I almost wished they'd just ghosted me. I don't need a parade when I get rejected, but a little appreciation for my time would be nice.
- Can you share some typical behavioral interview questions you were asked?
- Were there any specific examples of behaviorally based questions you recall?
IT Lead
The interview process had 3 rounds. It started with a talent acquisition call, then a meeting with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview where the hiring manager was present again. These were typical remote interviews using Teams. The questions touched on technical and behavioral topics. The company structure and ownership model were interesting. The benefits package looked good compared to the market.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced and how you handled it using the STAR method?
