Teacher
the manager was nice, they showed me around and explained how the company works and what the expectations are. it was about an hour and a half but pretty chill and friendly. i liked it
- Can you describe your teaching philosophy?
- How would you handle difficult behavior from students?
Caregiver
The interviewer seemed inexperienced and a bit awkward, and got irritated when I asked follow-up questions. It felt like there might be more to the job than what was initially presented. Overall, it was a pretty unimpressive and boring interview.
- Are you okay with providing bathroom assistance to the residents?
Operations Manager
So I had a phone screen first, and then they scheduled me for an in-person interview. The phone interview went pretty good, the person asking questions seemed interested and asked some engaging stuff. When I got to the office for the in-person interview, the front desk lady was super rude. She treated me like I was one of the homeless people coming in and told me to just wait in line. Honestly, she wasn't much nicer to them either. It was weird. Then I met with two people, but they never told me the second person would be there. The in-person interview felt totally different from the phone call. They seemed rushed and asked really general questions, not really anything to check my skills or background. I tried to mention my qualifications but it felt like they weren't really listening. I got the feeling they were just killing time for like 30 minutes and didn't actually want to know me. It was a really different vibe than the phone call. Maybe they didn't like how I looked.
- Tell me the reasons you are interested in this position.
- Can you provide a summary of your professional background?
House Manager
The interview process was very professional. I was required to submit a cover letter and resume. I answered several questions and received very honest feedback about the home position and the different trials I would experience in the home. I really appreciated the honesty. The interviewer was very professionally dressed and used proper language. She asked many questions and allowed me to ask any questions I had about the home, individuals, and behaviors I would experience in the home.
- What improvements would you make to the home in your role as manager?
