Had a 15 min chat with HR, they seemed impressed and said they'd be in touch. Ended up getting a rejection email the next day, no feedback given. Feels like one of those companies that just interviews people to look like they're expanding.

Technical Coding

I first had a phone interview where I was asked only technical questions for an hour. I felt the company didn't make an effort to get to know me as a person, which maybe would have happened later in an onsite interview. Still, the conversation was pleasant and a good experience/preparation. However, I've never had so many technical questions in a phone interview, let alone in any interview in my life. It was a bit over the top.

Recruiter was quick and nice to talk to. Interviewer had to reschedule on the day, but the recruiter sorted it out quickly with me. Felt like the phone call went well. They ended up going with someone else who was further along. The interviewer told me this when I asked for feedback. I get that companies need to keep options open since nothing's final until a contract is signed, but if I'd known I was a backup, I wouldn't have rescheduled the call.

Behavioral Technical

After submitting my online application, I was quickly contacted by phone to schedule an in-person meeting. The onsite interview took place in very pleasant surroundings, and the two department heads were very friendly and accommodating. We went through my resume together, and I was asked about my ideas for a potential role. Afterward, I was shown the office. About a week later, I received a polite, reasoned rejection call.
