The manager made me feel really comfortable. The questions were pretty easy to answer, and it felt like they were more interested in getting to know my personality than my actual skills. Overall, it was a pretty straightforward process, but unfortunately, I didn't get the job.

I was overqualified but went through with the interview. It started with a phone screening. The recruiter told me they don't hire people who already like the brand because they want to avoid 'fans.' They also said they don't hire people who want to grow within the company, again, to avoid 'fans.' The whole interview felt like a joke. The recruiter advised me not to mention growing with the company or my studies if I advanced to the next round.

The interview was very short, under 15 minutes, and they stuck to a strict set of questions without straying. They wrote down all my answers and didn't give any feedback during the interview. A couple of the last questions were strange, like asking about my star sign or favorite animal, and I'm not sure how that relates to being a sales associate. I was told I wasn't a good fit for the team about two weeks after the interview. It was a really awkward interview, and they didn't ask much about the brand itself. It feels like you need to fit a certain look or style to work there. They wouldn't tell me the salary or commission details during the interview.

The recruiter had me drive down to the warehouse in LA and meet with the team lead. Was met with a limp handshake on the sidewalk outside the building. Was asked 2 questions, about my lifting capabilities and if I’m willing to start work at 5am. That was it. She had her assistant come out to “ask me more questions” which was just her telling me how easy the job would be. Didn’t hear back after that.
