Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chromalloy Gas Turbine.
Engineer
I had a phone interview with HR and then another with the hiring manager. He mostly asked about my experience and my motivation for joining the company. I wasn't sure what he was looking for and he didn't ask follow-up questions. The job required three years of experience, and I have five. It's tough interviewing as a woman of color, and I question if I'm being rejected unfairly given my education and experience. I wish I could get feedback instead of automated rejections.

Engineering Co-Op
The interview day ran from 7am to 3pm. We got a free lunch and a gas stipend to help with travel costs. Before the main interviews, we were taken on a tour of the San Antonio facility. The actual interviews involved meeting with different teams at Chromalloy to see how we'd fit in and work with them.
- Can you share instances where you successfully navigated unexpected challenges or when plans didn't go as expected?
