HR from internal called me twice over 3 months to set up an in-person interview, but I found the HR recruiter very rude and unprofessional both times. I had to call to confirm interview details because I never got an email confirmation for either interview.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The job description stated a minimum of 10 years of Senior PM experience in managing multi-million dollar IT projects or process re-engineering projects. When I interviewed, it wasn't with the hiring manager HR provided. The team interviewing me explained the role was for an IT infrastructure PM, and the job description was from their San Antonio office and didn't match the Irving role. Since I'm a Software Development PM, not an infrastructure PM, I wasn't qualified for either role HR set up.

Behavioral Presentation

I found the job posting on a job board and then applied online through the company's site. About two months after applying, I had a phone interview with the Sr. Project Manager and the Department Director. Three months after that, I was invited for an in-person interview on site. This was a panel interview with one Sr. Project Manager and five department Directors/Sr. Leadership. I received the offer a month after the on-site interview.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Tell me about how a Project Manager can motivate their team members to perform.
  • Describe how you would handle a situation where motivation strategies were not effective.
