I was contacted and given a choice of dates for the interview. Several people were present during the interview. It felt serious, but there were friendly moments too. They offered water. I received a call about two weeks later.

Behavioral Group Presentation

It was basically sitting on a couch for a half an hour with a director, then a team interview for another half hour or so. Going in front of a team can be intimidating, especially when you don't know the story behind the relationships. The atmosphere was really casual though. Nothing like having to defend a thesis in front of a panel. An annoying aspect was how many questions were already covered in the resume. Clearly, none had read the resume. Everything appeared to run on "feel." That everything did run on feelings is what got in the way of office dynamics as well. Lots of reactionaries.

I had a very informal 1-hour interview with two supervisors. They asked me to walk through my resume to tell them about myself. We also discussed salary and benefits. They were definitely looking for a bilingual candidate. The interviewers were casual and friendly. I wasn't given an indication at the end of when a decision would be made, and since I wasn't offered a position, I'm not sure how long the entire process would have taken.

The interview was informal and felt positive. We discussed the role itself and my past professional journey. The conversation was easy-flowing and pretty quick, with two interviewers present. Mostly, we talked about whether my skills would be a good fit for the position. They shared a lot about potential career growth within the company and their long-term objectives for this role.
