The interview process went pretty smoothly and was well communicated. It took about 2-3 weeks from applying to hearing back. First, there was a 1-way video interview through HireVue. Then, there was a video interview with two people from the team.

I applied for a marketing gig at Christie's. They seemed interested at first, but scheduling was slow and communication wasn't great. I had to chase them to get an interview set up for the next day, so I barely had any time to prep. The interview itself felt rushed, like they just wanted to get it done. The questions they asked weren't really about the job; it was more about my current company's partners and what strategies worked for them. It made me wonder if the hiring manager was trying to learn from me rather than see if I was a good fit for the role. Turns out, he was a consultant in a totally different area. I've had interviews before, but never got a call the same day saying they weren't moving forward because I didn't know about specific marketing areas they never even asked me about during the interview. I mentioned this in my feedback, and they said they'd look into it, but I never heard back, even after I followed up politely. I even put together a presentation and sent it ahead of time, and didn't even get a thank you or acknowledgment for it, which is just basic manners. The focus on stuff not related to the job and then ghosting me after saying they'd investigate makes me question if the process was fair or objective. Super disappointed with the whole thing; I wouldn't suggest putting effort into applying.

the interviewer seemed really professional but definitely, but this company definitely does not have many positions or needs for interns which means the competition is tough and not easy to gain an offer.
