First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Christ Hospital.
Medical Technologist
Started with a call to HR to chat about salary stuff and set up a meeting with the bosses. Then, I had an interview that went for about an hour with the manager and the lab director.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Describe a situation where you received constructive feedback and how you responded.
Director
The interview process involved three distinct interview rounds, culminating in a series of panel discussions. It was a positive experience where respect was maintained throughout. The initial two rounds were conducted virtually, while the final round took place on-site with key personnel.
- Can you describe a situation where you introduced a new process that faced some resistance?
Birth Certificate Registrar-Technician Newborn Hearing Screener
I applied and got an email to do some assessments. After I finished those, a recruiter emailed me to schedule a phone interview. A few days after the interview, I got a generic rejection email. I saw the job was still posted, so I replied to the email asking if it was okay to apply for other roles in the future, but didn't hear back. I guess they treat applicants like numbers.
- What makes you want to work at the Christ Hospital?
Phlebotomist
The interviewer and I connected well. I was really into working in the hospital because I'm applying to medical school, and I feel like that came across in my resume and interview. I didn't have phlebotomy experience, but this hospital trains you well, so expect to be thrown into it. I actually ended up switching to the third shift because the night manager was more patient and didn't micromanage me like the other managers who complicated things. Once I was on third shift, I did great and the job became easy. I enjoyed working here mostly because of the patients and making them smile.
- What makes you want to work here?
- Could you tell me a little about yourself?
- Please be ready to discuss experiences listed on your resume.
